About the Stoneware Bistro Bowls
Hand-thrown on the potter's wheel, the Bistro Bowl has a classic style with nouveau cuisine in mind - ideal for serving today's one-dish meals such as soups, chowders, pastas, jambalaya, stews, stir-fry, rice, or ratatouille. The use of durable stoneware clay allows the bowls to be safe for the dishwasher, oven, and microwave, while keeping food warm until served. Handmade in North Carolina with traditional pottery methods, the bowls are available in your choice of 3 lead-free American-made glazes: Teal, White, or French Blue. Sold as a set of 2 bowls, each with a 16 to 18 ounce capacity.

Note: Stoneware is safe for oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher use, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, the bowls should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot, placed under water when hot, or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
