Jewelry by Lori Strickland
Florida artist Lori Strickland creates distinctive contemporary sterling silver jewelry with a contemporary twist on nature's graceful artistry. With her husband, she formed the jewelry line known as 'Luckina K', inspired by her Grandmother's faith and creativity.
Each design begins with a small wax sculpture. Using the ancient method of lost wax casting, the jewelry designs are faithfully reproduced in detail, bringing the wax sculpture to life with the brilliance of sterling silver. Each piece is hand-finished and are many of the styles are artfully embellished with the addition of lustrous freshwater pearls.
Lori's popular peapod necklace is available with 2 or 3 pearl "peas" in either white or green (see below) and ships immediately from Modern Artisans. Versions with 4 or 5 peas are available by special order. Contact us for more information.
