About the Handmade Jewelry Box with Craftsman Inlay 

This small jewelry box is crafted with distinctive hardwoods to create a quality work of art to hold and protect your favorite adornments! Within the interior of the box, you'll find a felt ring row and maple dividers (which may be removed for easy cleaning or to make room for larger items).

The box is constructed in your choice of natural cherry, American walnut, or exotic shedua wood, each accented with a handsome quilted maple lid and a craftsman style circle inlay (inlay consists of purple heart, paduak and black obeechie woods). The corners feature wenge wood corner splines to provide additional strength and a sophisticated visual appeal.

The versatile box may be used as a small jewelry box, valet, keepsake box or presentation box! Individually handmade in Michigan.

Wood details: Each box is constructed of all-natural hand-polished hardwoods and given a catalyzed lacquer to provide a clear, durable finish and enhance the natural colors of the wood. Stains are not used. Box may be maintained with a general furniture polish.

Cherry: Natural cherry wood is native to North America and is a very light (almost maple-like) color when new. Cherry will naturally darken with age to reveal a reddish-brown tint.

Walnut: a hardwood native to the Eastern United States featuring dark brown grains that are beautifully enhanced with age.

Maple: strong hardwood native to eastern North American with a creamy color. Curly maple has a distinct wavy pattern with an irridescent quality. Maple is used to create the lids in both versions of this jewelry box.

Purple Heart, Paduak, Obeechie, and Wenge: non-domestic exotic woods used strictly for the decorative inlay and durable corner splines.
