About the Jellyfish Necklace 

The mesmerizing dance of a pink jellyfish is frozen in time; a stirring slice of oceanic life artistically portrayed inside a glass drop.

Based in Massachusetts, artist J. Sinkus is passionate about the natural world and incorporates these passions into affordable works of wearable high-quality glass art. Created one at a time, molten borosilicate glass (the same safe, durable Pyrex glass used in bakeware and laboratory equipment), is melted, shaped, prodded and coaxed atop a flame to form the realistic, three-dimensional glass jellyfish. The artist uses no molds, so each jellyfish will differ slightly in shape and each pendant will differ very just slightly in size. Pendant measures approximately 2" in height and includes a removable 18" black rubber cord with sterling silver lobster-claw clasp.
