Each sculpture is cut from natural, unrefined, unpainted, unburnished steel - this is intentional on the part of the artist to emphasize the individual, rustic and handmade quality. Very slight variations (uneven surfaces, spots, lines, etc) on the surface may be noticed when viewed closely - this is a natural characteristic of raw steel.
The smaller 16" version includes a hook on the rear. With the larger 24" sculpture, there is no incorporated hook on the rear. This is to ensure the suclpture is held flat against the wall. The sculpture should be held with heavy-duty picture hooks, small nails or mirror holders.
