About the Red Crystal Glass Hummingbird Feeder

An inverted textured red crystal glass bottle is bound by a flattering solid copper hanger that spirals about the glass, decorated with painted copper leaves. Below the bottle, dual hummingbird feeding ports sprout up, created with copper tubing. Each feeding station features a red copper flower, plastic bee guard and brass perch, forming the perfect attraction for hummingbirds. The feeding ports work as a single unit, held in place by a single removable rubber grommet for easy refills. Colored copper leaves and flowers are fired with translucent finishes for long lasting durability.
Holds 8 oz. of liquid. All metal portions are designed and handmade in Tennessee.

Hummingbird Feeding Tips :
  • Place your hummingbird feeder in a shady location. This keeps the liquid cool and allows it to last longer.
  • Clean your feeder with soap and water or vinegar and rinse thoroughly with water.
  • To create the hummingbird "nectar" at home, mix 4 parts water to 1 part sugar. Mix well until dissolved and it's ready to use! To slow the fermentation process, you can boil the mixture for several minutes on a stovetop (do not microwave as this affects the molecular properties of the sugar). Do not use artificial sweeteners, honey or food coloring in your mix, as these have no nutritional value and/or can be harmful to wildlife.
  • You can store excess hummingbird food in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
