About the Heads + Tails Earrings 

If we had tails, ours would be wagging! These earrings just make us so darn happy!

Vintage dog illustrations are reproduced and arranged under hand-cut glass. The images are framed with hand-soldered lead-free silver (the same technique used in stained glass art and authentic Tiffany lamps) and oxidized to provide a rich, dark color. The final touches are provided with oxidized sterling silver french wires and faceted cream accent beads!

Best of all, the earrings provide the benefit of being reversible - The dachshund head/tail appears on one side and the scottish terrier head/tail appears on the other! To reverse the front image, simply slide the image tile off of the ear-wire and thread back on in the opposite direction. The reversibility allows the earrings to be worn in four different ways: Dachshund head and tail, Scottie head and tail, dog heads only, or dog tails only! Artist-crafted in Minnesota.
