About the Acanthus Leather Journal 

Bench-crafted one at a time, the leather journal cover is crafted from thick, custom tanned, quality cowhide deeply embossed with a swirling acanthus leaf design. The journal is accented with a solid pewter button, which an attached rawhide cord loops around to securely fasten the journal closed. Within the taupe leather cover is a replaceable 208 page hardbound blank journal book of heavy bond acid-free pages, perfect for recording sketches, notes, diaries, dreams, poetry, musings or your personal works of literature. Once the pages are full, it may be refilled with a new blank book (also available separately, below), allowing the journal to be appreciated for a lifetime.

Leather portions are tanned and hand-tooled in the USA. Pewter accent is individually designed and cast in the USA. The acanthus design wraps around the entire journal, front to back.
