About the Copper Stitch Earrings 

With a wide range of intriguing influences, from the tribal to the whimsical, artists John and Linda Whitney fabricate jewelry by hand in their Vermont studio. Since 1970 they have cultivated and refined techniques of forming, soldering, forging, casting and texturing mixed metals into works of wearable art.

Simple, yet fascinating, the Copper Stitch Earrings consist of a sequence of square copper segments stitched together with copper wire. A heat patina provides the copper with a lovely variation in color tones. Includes standard surgical steel ear wires.
