About the Black Cherry Mantel Clock 

Classic craftsmanship with contemporary style! Handcrafted with traditional joinery by furniture designer Desmond Suarez, the upright mantel clock consists of natural kiln-dried woods native to his Appalachian home. Tall, gracious legs of maple are ebonized (a chemical process for wood emulating the look of ebony), framing a clock-face of distinctive wild cherry. The meticulously hand-rubbed finish of beeswax and mineral oil protects and optimizes the natural look of the wood. Measuring a full 17" tall x 13" wide, the clock features a black pendulum, rough metal clock markings, and a brass keyhole that allows the clock to be wall-hung (in addition to free-standing). Handcrafted in North Carolina.
