Crafted from Central American maple and cocobolo woods with a removable lid and high-gloss exterior. Because the interior is food-safe, it may also be used as a rice bowl!

The wood is reclaimed from the bottom of lake beds and rivers in Central America, and does not promote the use of deforestation. Many decades ago, trees taken from the forests were floated down rivers, where it was milled into lumber. Today, the river bottoms are littered with logs that sank, their beauty and strength still preserved underwater. Once the logs are removed from the river bottom, they are dried, milled, and shipped to the USA, where wood artisans use modern technology to turn and construct functional wood forms.

It is not recommended to soak the wood in water or to place the wood in a dishwasher, microwave or direct sunlight. Clean with a wet cloth or non-abrasive pad.
