About the Celtic Trinity Knot Ceramic Wall Art Tile
The Celtic Trinity Knot (also known as Trinitarian Knot) originates from the three-pronged symbol called the triquetra, an ancient knot symbol found on pagan rune stones and the "Book of Kells", the iconic collection of gospels by Celtic monks. Over the centuries, the significance of the three loops have included past, present and future, body, mind and soul, the three stages of triple goddess, and most frequently, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The unbroken circle represents eternity, while the interwoven nature of the symbol denotes the indivisibility and equality of the three points.
This unique ceramic tile depicting the Celtic Trinity Knot is handcrafted of stoneware clay, hand-painted, provided with a white crackle glaze, and high-fired to a permanent finish. The edge of the tile has a wavy, paper-like edge, forming a nice contrast with the black wooden board upon which it is mounted. The wall hanging measures 7.5" square, arrives boxed, and is ready to hang. Individually made by hand in Manitoba, Canada.
