Concrete and Cast Stone

Cast stone is a concrete masonry product simulating natural-cut stone used in European architectural applications for hundreds of years. Cast stone can be made from white and/or grey cements, manufactured or natural sands, crushed stone or natural gravels, and colored with mineral coloring pigments. Many people think of this as concrete and the term is often interchangeable in ornamental uses. However, cast stone will typically have a finely-textured surface void of air bubbles. The use of cast stone in the garden is a popular choice due to its' classic look and durability.
